Transcend Connect Charter for Corporate Groups in Germany and Europe

Most riv­er ships are built to sell cab­ins to indi­vid­ual trav­ellers, and a cor­po­rate group is then fit­ted into a ves­sel designed around a pub­lic timetable. Tran­scend Con­nect was built the oth­er way round: from the out­set as a float­ing venue for one group at a time. It entered ser­vice in July 2026, and it is avail­able through myGer­manDMC for cor­po­rate char­ter plan­ning.

One Group, One Ship

On a full char­ter there are no oth­er guests aboard, no pub­lic timetable to work around and no sec­ond group com­pet­ing for the same spaces. The din­ing room is yours for the whole jour­ney, the lounge does not have to be hand­ed back at a fixed hour, and brand­ing is not con­fined to a cor­ner — because there is no oth­er brand aboard. Route and pro­gramme are devel­oped indi­vid­u­al­ly, sub­ject to route, berth, oper­a­tional and avail­abil­i­ty con­straints.

Par­tial char­ters are pos­si­ble as well, so the ship is not lim­it­ed to groups that fill all six­ty cab­ins.

The Programme Moves Through the Ship

The val­ue is not any sin­gle room. It is that a full day of pro­gramme can move through the ship with­out a trans­fer: a keynote, a recep­tion, a din­ner and an evening moment, each in its own space — no coach­es between venues, no group scat­tered across three address­es.

Spaces and Capacities

The Forum is a two-lev­el the­atre space of rough­ly 70 m² for up to 120 guests — lec­tures, con­certs and pre­sen­ta­tions in one room, with­out rear­rang­ing a din­ing space first. The main lounge cov­ers about 278 m² for more than 120 guests, day­light through­out, and works as the recep­tion and evening room. The restau­rant seats 30 to 120 flex­i­bly and includes a wine room and a chef’s demon­stra­tion table, which turns cater­ing into part of the pro­gramme rather than a ser­vice in the back­ground.

The top deck is the largest sin­gle asset at rough­ly 1,216 m² in total: a relax­ation area of about 443 m², a sun deck and open-air cin­e­ma of about 521 m², and a grill and fire-pit area at the bow of about 252 m². Tran­scend states that the fire pit is the only one on a riv­er cruise ves­sel, and the deck car­ries a 144-inch out­door screen. Along­side these there is a library with a barista cof­fee bar for break­out ses­sions, a stu­dio of about 120 m² for work­shops and brand acti­va­tions, an aft lounge for pri­vate din­ing, and a spa with a sauna with a view, steam bath, expe­ri­ence show­er and whirlpool.

Capacity for Fair Allocation

Up to 120 guests in 60 iden­ti­cal 20 m² cab­ins, each con­fig­urable with a king-size or twin beds; adja­cent cab­ins con­vert into two-room suites for exec­u­tive or VIP groups. Iden­ti­cal cab­ins qui­et­ly solve one of the most per­sis­tent fric­tions in group trav­el — there is no bet­ter half of the ship and no argu­ment about who received the view.

Support for the Organising Team

The ves­sel is set up for the peo­ple run­ning the event, not only for the guests: three twin cab­ins for your own staff, a ded­i­cat­ed char­ter direc­tor on every sail­ing, pri­vate stor­age space aboard, sup­port with prepar­ing and clear­ing client mate­ri­als, and a Euro­pean char­ter sup­port team behind it. For a DMC this is the dif­fer­ence between a venue that hosts you and a venue that works with you.

A Strong Sustainability Concept

Among the fea­tures stat­ed by Tran­scend Cruis­es: Stage V low-emis­sion engines, elec­tric propul­sion for emis­sion-free last-mile manoeu­vring, shore pow­er and shore water con­nec­tions, LED light­ing through­out and low-VOC mate­ri­als, with cer­ti­fi­ca­tion by the Green Award. We report these as the ves­sel provider states them — we do not describe the ship as cli­mate-neu­tral or emis­sion-free, because those are dif­fer­ent claims and nei­ther is made.

Tran­scend Cruis­es pro­vides the ves­sel and the onboard prod­uct. myGer­manDMC inte­grates the char­ter into the wider cor­po­rate pro­gramme: con­cept and brief­ing, avail­abil­i­ty check, rout­ing, hotels before and after the jour­ney, trans­fers, shore excur­sions, guides, restau­rants ashore, brand­ing require­ments and local han­dling across Ger­many and Europe. We are on site — the per­son who plans the char­ter is the per­son stand­ing on the quay when your group boards.
